	Biography Drupon Sangye Rinpoche also known as Lama Konchok Sangyas Lama of the Drikung Kagyu lineage Born in Tingmosgang, Ladakh, he entered local monastery at an early age. Having received Buddhist primary education there, he continued his studies at the Drikung Kagyu Institute Jangchubling (Dehra Dun, India) where he studied for 9 years. After graduating from the Institute he made the traditional 3-year reatreat, where his realizations included the Naropa Six Yoga teachings. Having successfully finished the retreat, the head of the Drikung Kagjü lineage H.H. Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche named him the head lama of the Estonian and Latvian Drikung Kagyu Centers, with permanent residence in Estonia. In 2004, he was officially given the titles of Drupon and Rinpoche. On last years he has been teaching also in other Drigung Kagyu Dharma Centers in Europe Currently, Drupon Sangye Rinpoche is the Head Lama of the Drikung Kagyu Ratna Sri Keskus in Estonia and Latvia.
